It's the NFL offseason, so while teams are concentrating on evaluating the next crop of talent at the NFL combine, some players who are already employed have taken to social media to air dirty laundry.
Former New York Jets and current Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman recently made an appearance on the Pivot podcast and said he was "checked out" during the time he was with the Jets and asked the Chiefs to "come get me."
Hardman's former teammates apparently weren't too happy with his appearance on the Pivot.
Jets All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner suggested Hardman leaked the Jets gameplan against the Philadelphia Eagles in a since-deleted social media post.
"Be careful getting information from disgruntled former employees," Jets punter Thomas Morstead wrote on social media. "Getting beat out by a rookie free agent after being guaranteed millions of dollars is tough to deal with. Entitlement is a killer of opportunity. You have to earn it every year."

The Jets ended up winning that game 20-14.
Asked at the combine about Hardman's comments, Jets general manager Joe Douglas said, "I’ll just say those comments definitely resonated with us."
The Chiefs acquired Hardman for their stretch playoff run in October for a 2025 sixth-round round pick.
Hardman went on to catch the game-winning score in overtime as the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 58.
